“I wanted to thank all of the team at Horizon Divers for an outstanding weekend of diving. I have been a Divemaster since ’04 (diving since 91)and know when a crew “does it right”. The team at Horizon surely fits the bill. From Troy our Captain to Justin and Raisa, you could not ask for a more professional, competent and courteous crew. This experience matches my previous experiences with Horizon Divers… and I can say with confidence this is a shop that has the “something special” atmosphere that makes you want to return year-over-year. You have a team of rockstars.
This past weekend was a special one for my son and myself… a celebration of his 18th birthday. The fact that he wanted to mark this milestone with me, in Florida, underwater, with Horizon Divers is a great feeling. I wanted to say thank you personally to the entire shop. “I live in Massachusetts and typically go to Florida in February for 3-5 days. Such mini-vacations break the winter in two smaller parts and assure that I do not have to compete with numerous tourists. There are many places to dive with in the Keys, and Key Largo specifically, but after several years of trying to dive with many of them, I chose the Horizon Divers and I will remain their loyal customer. Just a few reasons why:
First, they have a very interesting atmosphere. The moment you call or walk in, they treat you as a part of their family and you feel like you know them for a long time. They are helpful, patient, and caring. Two large friendly dogs will also often meet you at the shop.
Second, Horizon Divers have the best instructors/guides. Their instructors not only help you see lots of life under the water, but also take a great overall care of their customers at every step.
Third, they will do everything possible to make sure you get your dives. If some reasons beyond their control they can not go out, they will do their best to put you on a boat with another shop.
Fourth, they are happy to work with you on any certification you choose to pursue or on any skills you would like to acquire or improve upon. They do this very professionally and friendly at the same time.
And last, there is not a single thing that I would wish to change in this place. Just a tip, ask Mike Ryan to take you to the Spiegel Grove wreck. He has more than 400 dives to that dive site.
